Well the written prompt over at QuilDagger: Pen For A Sword writing blog was to write haiku! Specifically, to write haiku in your own voice, or perhaps in a genre haiku is not usually written in.
Here are my attempts!
in the grey morning
I knew no sound but silence
loud as a siren
frost hangs heavy on
tree branches, windowpanes
and heartache alike
stars glitter softly
from the window of my ship
there is no dawn here
in the end there was
only me, myself and I
lost
in the wreckage
each kiss is mana
did you cast innervate
or
is this arousal?

I love them! The answer to your question:
ReplyDeleteIt is arousal
slow, steady, deep, powerful
passion unbridled.
